Abstract
A 67-year-old female patient came to the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Nagoya City University Hospital, on February 9, 1976 complaining o swelling in the right cheek. A diagnosis of osteosarcoma was made by biopsy Radiotherapy with 9, 050 rad and necrotomy were done, and the patient has been observed for 8 years and 8 months without signs of recurrence. Cases of osteosarcoma in the maxilla are also discussed in the light of the literature.
