Abstract
A case of tuberculous lymphadenitis in the left submandibular and cervical regions is presented.
The patient was a 25-year-old female, with a chief complaint of swelling in the left submandibular region.
It was diagnosed clinically as tuberculous cervical lymphadenitis or malignant neoplasm.
The extirpation of the tumor was performed under general anesthesia, because the tumor had extended rapidly.
Histopathologic examination revealed typical tuberculous lesions in the lymphnodes and chronic sialoadenitis.
The patient is well without recurrence 9 years after operation.
