Abstract
In this paper, quality verification is performed by Live Streaming using a service quality (QoS) control technology that realizes streaming delivery and playback of multimedia data, and priority delivery of the data on the Internet, and transmission speed for a stable communication is secured in wireless local communication networks (Wireless LANs). We control the transmission speed with Linux commands. Under the environment consisting of access points, clients, and servers, we measure the packet reception rates and loss rates of streaming delivery between the notebook PC and smartphone client to show the transmission speed that should be secured to obtain a stable communication. Furthermore, we show the transmission speed that should be secured for stable communication that guarantees QoS against the increase in clients. Finally, we compare the packet loss rates between notebook PCs and smartphones and show the performance differences between these terminals.
