Abstract
Display system for the medication of out-patients in hospital pharmacy is described. The hardware of this system consists of a LED display, which employs light emitting diodes arranged in a matrix, and a personal computer. The screen composition can be designed for free arrangement in accordance with the purpose of use and the contents of information. This system provides a medium to transmit a large amount of various information to patients in a readily understandable form. The utilization of statistical program in this system enabled us to evaluate the data obtained from the medication to out-patients. It is considered that these functions of this system are highly effective in both offering a better service to patients and improving the dispensing work.
