Abstract
It was reported that fibronectin eyedrops facilitated healing trophic ulcer and recurrent corneal erosion. We studied effects of temperature, light, and material of container on the concentration of fibronectin. The decrement of fibronectin concentration at 4°C was less than that at room temperature and 37°C.When fibronectin was placed in dark, the concentration decreased very slowly.A strong adsorption of fibronectin on the wall of glass vessel was observed, while little on the polypropylene or polyethylene container. These results suggest that fibronectin eyedrop preparation should be kept at 4°C and in polypropylene or polyethylene container in dark.
