Abstract

We reported the case of a 61-year-old man with palmoplantar pusturosis, probably caused by olfactory cleft inflammation, who reported amosmia. T&T olfactometry showed scale out data. After 1 month of treatment with Intranasal steroid drops, his skin was almost restored to normal. After 2 years of the same treatment, his dysosmia improved and inflamation of the olfactory cleft and palmoplantar pusturosis decreased. Stopping this treatment worsened palmoplantar pusturosis 5 times during 2 years.
