Abstract
We investigated the clinical course of re-entrance to school after inpatient rehabilitation for acquired brain injury in 31 children. We defined the clinical pass for children with acquired brain injury in 2001, and started to use it from 2002. We compared the clinical course before and after the use of the clinical pass. After starting to use it, the approach to re-entrance to schools was systematized and the period of inpatient rehabilitation was shortened. Also problems encountered after returning to school were decreased.
