Abstract
Having had an opportunity to use Parafango clinically, this is introduced herein, and the results of its clinical application are described.
Parafango was used in 82 cases of postfracture articular contracture and 30 cases of lumbago.
Parafango proved effective in all cases of postfracture articular contracture, giving rise to the rapid disappearance of edema and a marked improvement in R. O. M., and it further reduced the after-care period by about one third, as compared with that in Parafango-untreated cases.
Parafango also brought about a remission in all cases of lumbago. It required some concurrent therapy or another, but exerted a favorable effect on all cases.
