Abstract
Because of the increasing importance of tomography apparatus in the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis, the author examined the apparatus now in use, on the basis of imformation collected during the first 10 years after the war, with the following considerations. 1) test for the vibration of the apparatus that causes blurring of the image. 2) regulation of vibration. Moreover, he investigated the cause of the after-image of the ribs and measured the image amplified. Part of these results are reported here.
