Abstract

In order to take in fant chest X ray film in the phase of inspiration, a respiratory pick up was made for detecting breath and also a fastening table was deviced. The detector was made by Paper-Straingauge with cloth the band for binding the abdomen. Output singnals from the detector were recorded by the high speed recorder after amplification, and the recording pen head was connected with the photo switch made up of a CDS (photo cell) and a light source for X ray exposure controll. The light source moved at the same time with the pen, and CDS fixed the frame. With the inspiration, when light projected CDS, X ray was exposed. The merits of this method were as follows : 1) By the fastening table, any of the various positions such as upright position, olique position etc. 2) Constantly the Chest X ray films in the phase of normal snspiration were taken. 3) The device was also used for taking films in detecting adenoid or foreign bodies in windpipe.
