THE TRIAL MANUFACTURE OF RADIOLUCENT MIRROR FOR ELECTRON BEAM

Abstract

In case of radiation therapy using electron beam by Betatron in our hospital, we had set the top of cone to adjust the visible mark which lining patient's skin. But, it is difficult to adjusting when top of the cone will be apart from patient's skin. So, we made radiolucent mirror for electron beam using 0.013 mmAl foil, and enable to visualized the field area. We have been using this mirror for seven months, and we perform the setting certainly and easily.
