Abstract
In determining of the conversion factor of I. I., dose rate and luminance are usually examined separately. This method, though, can be a cause of unstable reproducibility of X-ray output because of the actual fluctuation in X-ray dosage. To solve this problem, we developed a new parallel plate ionization chamber which enables the simultaneous measurement of dose rate and luminance. We present the characteristics of this ionization chamber, by means of comparison with the IONEX chamber. We also describe the use of the dosimeter. The chamber was considered effective for controling I. I. luminance.
