Abstract
A 63-year-old woman was referred to our hospital with an increasing splenic cyst. On physical examination, the tumor was not palpable. Hematological examination was within normal limits. Contrast-enhanced CT showed a splenic tumor with heterogeneous enhancement (3.5×4 cm). PET-CT showed high up-take in the same area (SUVmax 9.41). MRI showed the same tumor with increased signals.
With a preoperative diagnosis of suspected malignant lymphoma, laparoscopic splenectomy was performed. The tumor size was 3.5×4 cm. Histological examination showed inflammatory pseudotumor suspected to be IgG4-related disease.
