A 74-year-old woman who presented with an about 8-mm irregularly shaped tumor in the C segment of the left breast was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the left breast by a fine needle biopsy. Total left mastectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy were performed, followed by axillary dissection as sentinel lymph node metastasis was discovered. We diagnosed the case as left breast cancer, pT1bN1(sn)M0 Stage IIA, ER+(>90%), PgR+(5%), HER2 negative(1+), and Ki-67 5%, and the patient was started on oral anastrozole treatment. Since CEA increased 5 months after the operation with no symptoms, upper and lower endoscopies were performed for a detailed gastrointestinal examination. Lower endoscopy revealed an elevated lesion in the transverse colon, which was diagnosed as colon metastasis of breast cancer by a biopsy. The tumor marker levels temporarily decreased with eribulin administration, however, after 5 months, they increased again, and metastases to the skin and the stomach appeared. After exchanging eribulin for paclitaxel, the patient's general condition deteriorated and she died two months later. We report a case of Luminal A invasive ductal breast carcinoma which metastasized to the colon early after surgery and rapidly progressed.
