Abstract

Patients with BRAF mutant advanced recurrent colorectal cancer have a very poor prognosis, and a new cetuximab + encorafenib + binimetinib regimen was approved for this indication in 2020. Of a total of 7 patients treated at our institution, the male/female ratio was 3 : 4, and the mean age was 66 years. Grade 3 adverse events were noted in 57.1% of them. The best therapeutic effect in all patients was PR, with a median progression survival of 5.8 months. Both treatment efficacy and safety were comparable to existing reports, and the regimen was considered to be feasible for patients aged 70 years and older with appropriate dose reduction while paying attention to adverse side effects.
