Abstract
In clinical application of oriental medicine, pulse diagnosis is important and necessary for examining the intestines. It is also useful for acupuncture and moxibustion treatments. However, there are few reports conserning pulse diagnosis. It is considered important to objectify pulse diagnosis using plethysmograph. As the elements of plethysmography were improved, plethysmography with air conduction transducer was developed, making it possible to obtain clear and accurate pulse waves with this device.
