Abstract
The distribution of breakages of the constructions has been surveyed in the city areas on the alluvial plains, terraces and hills along the Rokko mountain range. The results are shown in Fig. 4. The breakages have a tendency to concentrate along the direct extensions of the faults developing in the basement rocks of the Rokko mountains. This fact is considered to be due to the direct or indirect effects of the activities of the faulting.
