Abstract
Landslides occurred in the valley of the River Fuji and to River Katsuragawa.
The former belonged to the zone of Fujikawa fault fracture, and the latter to the zone of Katsuragawa fault fracture.
The writer found the following facts by X-ray study on the Weathering rock of landslide Which forms point of the petrological study on the landslide?on this area.
I have found that the mineralogical cause of landslide produced the clay mineral of sericite.and chlorite on the surface of landslide of phyllite of mesozoic strata and montmorillonitization oh the surface of the landslide of Misaka and Nishiyatsushiro series.
