Abstract
In this study, we developed a teacher training program that integrates microlearning and remote education systems to teach ICT skills needed to realize the GIGA school program. We planned a teacher training program targeting teachers and graduate students at a professional graduate school of teacher education. The training combined microlearning, which provided watching short explanation videos illustrating the uses of the class support system for instant practical class usage, and a remote education system, in which participants could learn using their own tablets and laptops, etc. The results of the questionnaire survey conducted pre-post design the training suggested that the use of the class support system may improve the recognition that teachers’ burden can be reduced and that students’ judgment and expression skills can be enhanced.
