Study on Internal Damage Imaging Technique of Concrete Structure using Ultrasonic Testing Technique

Abstract

In this study, for the purpose of directly imaging crack situation in concrete from one direction, development of

ultrasonic array probe and application of phased array UT technology for detecting crack of concrete structure were

examined. In addition, this paper examines the propriety of imaging of crack generation state in the concrete using PWI

(Plane Wave Imaging) technology noticed recently as an ultrasonic wave waveform processing technology and attempts

to improve the estimation accuracy of internal damage state.
