Abstract

Our organization supports patients across all life stages by offering nephrology, health screening, and elderly care services. As part of an effort to enhance daily clinical practice, We evaluated the use of Silver-based antibacterial skin care gel for foot hygiene and moisturization in dialysis patients. Infections caused by dry skin and minor injuries are a major cause of foot complications in such patients, making preventive foot care an essential component of long-term management. Silver-based antibacterial skin care gel contains alcohol and silver-based antimicrobials delivered via Hydro Ag+technology. Previous studies suggest that application has immediate and sustained antibacterial and moisturizing effects. In addition, it has advantages in terms of usability, workflow efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Use of the gel may help raise patient awareness of self-care and support improved adherence to preventive foot care routines.
