Abstract
We evaluated visual design of websites on restaurant by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The “color combination”, “illustration”, and “sentence”of websites were designated as upper hierarchy of evaluated parameters in AHP. The results of AHP indicated that “illustration”, “color combination”, and “sentence”were evaluated in order of ascending weight as important evaluation parameters. They indicate that the visual impressions of website are more effective for sales promotion. The findings from the results are as follows.(a) As regard with background color, neutral colors such as white are simple and visible. Warm color makes a favorable impression as accent color.(b) Relatively large number of illustrations of dish, which have large-size and clear-colors, make a great impact (c) Sentence should be expressed friendly and shortly just as itemizing, and use of prominent color or handwriting are appropriate for distinguishing sentence.
