Abstract
Complaints of continuous spine position for two hours was observed with 90 of healthy youth. During this position, body pressure and two-point discrimination of dermal sensation were measured. Correlation between the complaints and these measured value was evaluated.
1. Complaints were appeared in early stage of spine position and most of them was appeared within 30 minutes. After this point, complaints decreased gradually.
2. Complaints were recognized in lower limbs, hip and calcaneal region, in where the body pressure being high value. On the other hand. restained feeling by the restricted movement was also frequent.
3. Paresthesia (numb) was appeared in comparative early stage and pain was in later. These complaints were more often other complaints.
4. Two-point test of dermal sensation was short in the area of high body pressure. Especially, the distance of two-point was shortest (10±4 mm) in calcaneal region. There was negative corelation between the distance of two point test and the frequency of complaint.
5. From these results, it is important to notice the complaints in early stage and the appearance of numb in order to arrange the timing of exchanging the position.
