Abstract

To investigate subjective health status (SHS) and its relating factors, 1,212 subjects, residents of T city in Osaka prefecture, were asked to answer originally designed questionnaire.
As a result, "satisfaction for life", "non-stressful feeling", "no household medicine needed", "good condition for job" and "satisfaction for their own home" showed positive relationship to SHS. On the contrary, we found negative relationship between "falling any kinds of illness" and SHS.
It was suggested that SHS was more affected by one's recognition for health related factors rather than actual conditions.
