Abstract
In this report, various kinds of cutting fluids on the market have been evaluated from the view points of cost per unit metal removal, surface roughness, power consumption, antirusting ability, etc., when such steels as SK5 and S25C were machined. Thus, cutting fluids suitable for the machining operations in factories were selected.
