Abstract
We are proposing a centrifugal mixed-powder method as a novel processing technique to fabricate pipe or ring-shaped FGM. Using this method, the photocatalytic TiO2 particles dispersed FGM and diamond reinforced functionally graded grinding wheel can be fabricated. Moreover, if the mixed-powder has been changed into machining chips, an eco-centrifugal casting method can be achieved. In this way, the proposed centrifugal mixed-powder method is effective method to fabricate the FGMs containing both nano-particles and micron-particles.
