Effect of B₂O₃ Addition on Product of PZT

Abstract

In this paper a small amout of B₂O₃ was added to PbO-PZT ceramics which were prepared in the molar ratio of PbO:TiO₂:ZrO₂=1.1:0.48:0.52.
By the addition of B₂O₃ the temperature for product of PZT was produced by firing at about 500°C and also the sintering was remarkably promoted under such conditions.
