Abstract
A cement copper was obtained by scrap cementation from the scrubbing solution of chloridizing volatilization process for pyrite cinder.
This cement copper was purified by rejecting the coarse portion of +325 mesh and the finer portion of -6μ by hydrocyclone and then reduced. with cracked ammonia gas reducing furnace at the temperature of 700-800°C, finally being converted into copper powder for the powder metallurgical use. This copper powder was compared with the usual electrolytic copper powder by making an iron base sintered product, and the same quality was verified.
