Abstract
A tape-shaped wire with YBa2Cu3O7 core and Ag sheath was fabricated by a drawing-rolling method. The critical current density Jc apparentry depended on the thickness of the tape and increased markedly with decreasing tape thickness. The maximum Jc of 3330A/cm2 at 77K in a zero magnetic field was achieved in a tape with 0.06mm thickness. The presence of a 20mT magnetic field reduced the Jc value by 1/100.
