Subsolidus Phase Relation in the BiO_1.5-SrO-CaO-CuO System in air

Abstract

We have studied the subsolidus phase relation in the BiO_1.5-SrO-CaO-CuO system in air. The compounds were identified by X-ray and electron diffractions. New compounds, Bi₇Sr₇Cu₆O_x, Bi₇Sr₈Cu₅O_y, Bi₄Sr₈Cu₅O_z, Bi_0.46CaO_0.54-xSr_xO_y (0.1<x<0.2), Bi₃Sr₄Ca₃O_σ and Bi_0.25Sr_0.75-xCa_x, O_y (0≤x<0.2) were found in the system.
