Abstract
The phase diagram of (BiO)2Sr2Can-1CunO2n+2 of the line (1≤n≤8) could be determined. Based on the phase diagram, we were able to grow single crystals by the self flux method. The features of the crystals grown using such method were in good agreement with the phase diagram. The largest Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox single crystal could be grown from the compound with nominal composition Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10.
