Optical Image Converters Using Bi₁₂SiO₂₀ Single Crystal and Their Applications

Abstract

There are many kinds of image converters using Bi₁₂SiO₂₀ single crystal up to date. Also the possibility of applications has been described by man ?? workers. But, for the applications of the converters, there are many difficult problems to be solved. In this paper, the principles of the converters are explained together with interesting applications. And the problems to be solved are pointed out.
