Abstract
We reported on the effect of water or organic solvents on Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconductor in the preceding report. This article reports the changes of superconducting properties of samples soaked in water-included solvents as a parameter of moisture and soaking time. Organic solvents used in this experiment are ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, acetone and toluene. At all solvents except toluene, the rate of drop of Tc(end) increased and that of Jc reduced with increasing content of water. In the case of ethyl alcohol, we obtained that Jc's value showed the increasing tendency. For the toluene soaking, the value of Tc(end) and Jc did not change since the water could not be mix with toluene.
