Abstract
Double cone type mixer was manufactured for the present experiments, and sampling of metal powders was investigated by statistical method.
As the result of experiment it was recognized that metal powders are unified for a few minutes by mechanical mixing, but oxidation of powder and collapse of dendritic powder are inevitable to some extent.
Following to M. P. A. Metal Powder Association Standard, the original bill of JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) of sampling of metal powders was prepared by Powder Metallurgy Commitee based upon our experimental data
