We report the case of a three-month-old boy with intralobar pulmonary sequestration who was successfully operated on using the video-assisted thoracosopic surgical approach. A left supradiaphragmatic mass was revealed by prenatal ultrasonography at 26 weeks of amenorrhea (WA). The patient was born by cesarian section at 28 WA, secondary to unexpected ongoing delivery and unstable maternal conditions. Magnetic resonance angiography at the age of one-month demonstrated two aberrant arteries originating from the descending aorta. The lung specimen was pathologically confirmed to have a component of congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation, Stocker type II. The postoperative course was uneventful.
