Kimura disease is a rare disease that mainly occurs in the head and neck regions of young East Asian males. Most of the cases of Kimura disease are recognized by the presence of an asymptomatic soft tissue mass with eosinophilia and elevated serum IgE levels. We report a case of atypical Kimura disease recognized as a left brachial mass as a left brachial mass with a review of literature. An 11-year-old boy was referred to our hospital because of a left brachial asymptomatic mass that had existed for more than a year. His complete blood count showed eosinophilia with a 3 × 3 cm low echoic hypervascular mass, and an enhanced CT scan showed a contrast effect both in the early and delayed phases, indicating the possibility of Kimura disease. The mass was resected, and histopathological findings showed the characteristic feature of Kimura disease, namely, the proliferation of lymphatic tissue with the infiltration of abundant eosinophils between enlarged lymphatic follicles. He is now being followed up by us with no recurrence after 15 months.
