Breast abscess is rare in children. We report a pediatric case of breast abscess treated with Juzen–Taiho–To after drainage. A 10-year-old girl with a fever and left breast swelling was referred to our hospital. Thoracic computed tomography (CT) revealed an abscess in the left breast. The patient was admitted with a diagnosis of breast abscess, and we started treatment with antibiotics. On day 3 of hospitalization, the abscess drained spontaneously from two sites in the breast. However, draining was inadequate; therefore, surgical incision and insertion of two drains into the abscess cavity were carried out on day 5 of hospitalization. Then, the administration of Juzen–Taiho–To was initiated after surgical drainage. On day 6 of hospitalization, there was no pus draining and one of the drains was spontaneously removed. The remaining drain was removed, and the patient was discharged on day 7 of hospitalization. The administration of Juzen–Taiho–To was continued for 8 weeks without recurrence. We considered that Juzen–Taiho–To was effective in promoting healing in this patient.
