Case 1 was a 7-year-old girl who presented with soft, painless swelling in the right inguinal region and labia majora. Echography revealed thickening of adipose tissue, whereas MRI showed a low-signal area with unclear borders, rich in fibrous components on both T1- and T2-weighted images. On the basis of these findings, she was diagnosed with prepubertal fibrous hyperplasia (PUFH). Case 2 was a 9-year-old girl who underwent radical left inguinal hernia repair five years earlier. She returned to our clinic two months ago with painless swelling of the right labia majora and was diagnosed with PUFH on the basis of examination results. Case 3 was a 6-year-old girl who presented to our hospital with right inguinal swelling. PUFH is a relatively new disease characterized by labial swelling caused by fibrous tissue hyperplasia in a hormone-dependent manner, predominantly affecting prepubertal girls. PUFH is primarily diagnosed on the basis of age of onset and imaging findings. If the swelling increases or imaging is inconclusive, a biopsy or excision may be needed. Spontaneous shrinkage with conservative treatment has also been documented. Given that complete resection is challenging and recurrence is common, aggressive surgical intervention should be approached with caution.
