Abstract
Zoysia matrella and Zoysia tenuifolia were experimented how response to and how much resist in the different 4 shade categories in the artificial control room. From those results, it was recognized that it can be viewed growing well either 2 species in the PAR.373μmol, m-2, s-1(about 22klx), it can be maintained to grow in the PAR.97(about 4.5klx), it reached to the marginal point to PAR.41(about 2klx),and unable to grow in the PAR.10(about 0.55klx). Consequently, it can be suggested that Zoysia tenuifolia is better than Zoysia matrella to resist shade slightly because damage and damaging process appeared in Zoysia tenuifolia later than Zoysia matrella although downed the light grade, and developed the repent stems and rhizosphere well.
