Abstract
Plant succession and rise and fall of alien revegetation herbaceous species were investigated for eight years on the moist artificial bedrock cut slope that revegetated by growth material spraying method and revegetation mat method. The initial revegetation aim on the artificial cut slope is set to make shrub community and the seeds of alien revegetation herbs, indigenous herbs and trees were used. Thickness of growth material spraying method set to 1 cm, 3 cm and 5 cm respectively. In first year, we judge that 3 cm plot and 5 cm plot had been revegetated from the result of the coverage ratio. It was judged that 1 cm plot and mat plot had been revegetated in third year. We judged that the initial revegetation aim had been achieved in 1 cm, 5 cm and mat plot in third year because introduced pioneering woody plants dominated and shrub layer was formed. In eighth year, alien revegetation herbs were disappeared in 1 cm plot and mat plot. However, Festuca rubra Linn. was appear in 3 cm and 5 cm plot and its cover degree in 5 cm plot was high with 12.0%. As a result of this study, if we judge from only alien revegetation herbs growth in first year, growth material spraying method with 3 cm and 5 cm thickness were good. However, from the aim of revegetation and disappearance of alien revegetation herb, it was able to conclude that growth material spraying method with 1 cm thickness and revegetation mat method were excellent.
