A study on the green environment around hospitals regards from each hospital's character

Abstract

Responding to today's aging society, the improvement of medical environment is required at hospitals. As for the green environment, there are few qualitative aspects of research such as planting or species, although some researches just show the whole greening. Researches on public hospitals in Chiba, Saitama and Kanagawa prefectures where the restructuring will go on, indicate the importance of greening. In addition, there is each effort in each hospital from the aspects of budget and location. Result of this study, the planting which appropriate to the characteristics of hospital was considered necessary.
