Abstract

We conducted an online questionnaire survey in large urban areas within Tokyo's 23 wards, Osaka city and Nagoya city to clarify office workers’ perception of greenery in office. As a result, there were many offices where an indoor green quantity was scarce. The aspiration level of greenery in office was lower than the aspiration level of greenery around a house. When the greenery around a house was richer, the aspiration level of greenery was higher. The satisfaction level was so high that quantity of greenery in office as well as around a house was rich. Although aspiration level of greenery in office was not high, it was suggested that if the greenery in the office became rich, the aspiration level might increase and the satisfaction level might also become high.
