We conducted an online questionnaire survey among office workers in the 23 wards of Tokyo to analyze the relationship between the greening of office interiors and the worker’s satisfaction with the amount of greenery, analyzed by office size and work style (fixed seat or free seat). The results showed that office size had a significant impact on the presence of greenery, with larger offices incorporating greenery into various spaces, while smaller offices tended to have insufficient greenery in entrances and common areas. In terms of work style, offices with free seating tend to prioritize greenery in common areas and breakout areas. Correlation analysis also showed that, regardless of office size work style, the amount of greenery in common areas was the most significant contributor to overall satisfaction with office greenery quantities.
