Abstract

In this study we described the characteristics of human physiological response to forest and grassland. We set three experimental plots, two plots are in Larix leptolepis and Pinus densiflora plantation, the other is in grassland. There we investigated Electroencephalogram seven times by two subjects. Conclusively, 1) with eyes being opened on a comfortable chair, we recognized the difference among three plots on quantity of alpha rhythm. 2) Subjects are more comfortable in forest than in grassland. 3) The sense of sight has influence on the quantity of alpha rhythm. 4) There are individual variations of the alpha rhythm in different structure forests.
