Some sufficient conditions for the validity of the Raghavarao-Kageyama bound on the number of blocks are systematically given for two kinds of unequal-blocksized designs having μ-resolvability. Furthermore, necessary conditions for the existence of certain μ-resolvable block designs are shown with some illustrations.
