The Event Composed: on Nobumitsu's waki noh, Higami

Abstract

The present paper examines how the original event is dramatically composed to maintain its festivity in a waki noh, Higami. For that purpose the author compares the composition of Higami with the typical composition pattern of mugen-noh and with the model pattern of waki-noh, which has been demonstrated by Professor Mikio Takemoto.
