Abstract
ln this study, the thermal conductivity of magnetic fluids was measured by a transient hot wire method in change in the volume fraction of magnetite and surfactant and temperature. On the other hand, the themlal conductivity was calculated by the use of some well-known equations on the electrical conductivity of mixture. Consequently, the values calculated by Kerner's coating model were agreed comparatively.
