Abstract
There are only few reports on the thermal conductivity of Japanese mud walls built by traditional construction methods. The only noticeable paper published up to now is a report by Dr. Masao Kinoshita and Dr. Sadakichi Shimizu on the thermal conductivity of a mud walls of natural size. This paper reports on the thermal conductivity of seven pieces of mud walls and eight types finish coated Japanese mud walls.
