Four Japanese Industrial Standars on testing methods (DSC, DTA and TG) for thermal properties of plastic materials were established as JIS K7120 (thermogravimetry), K7121 (transition temperatures), K7122 (heat of transitions) and K7123 (specific heat capacity).
A back ground on the establishment of these JISs, a relationship between results of round robin tests for the testing methods and these JISs, and an outline of these JISs are described.
