Abstract
Results of investigations conducted in 1999 and 2000 suggest that 20,000 pairs of Leach's Storm-Petrel (Oceanodroma leucorhoa) are breeding on Kenbokki Island in eastern Hokkaido. As an important breeding ground for Oceanodroma leucorhoa, Kenbokki Island is currently believed to be second only to Daikoku Island.
